Based in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, Brian joined Syngenta Ventures in 2019. Prior to joining the ventures team, Brian spent 6 years with Syngenta in various roles in Seeds Product Development focused on the Trait Introgression function managing corn, sunflower, and soy, globally. Brian spent time in the pharmaceutical industry at Eli Lilly, and in transgene analysis at Dow AgroSciences, before joining Syngenta in 2013. Brian holds a M. Sc. From Indiana University in Biotechnology, where he also earned his B. Sc. in Biotechnology and Chemistry. He is currently enrolled in the Duke Fuqua School of Business Executive MBA program.
